High-quality office furniture is designed to last.
At the same time, there has so far been no common framework bringing together manufacturers, retailers, businesses and qualified partners. newen was created in response to this need: as a joint initiative of the Industrieverband Büro und Arbeitswelt e. V. (IBA) and its member companies. Its aim is to preserve existing value, pool existing expertise and create an industry-wide solution for the professional reuse of high-quality office furniture.
Why newen was established
When companies undergo change, they are left with stock of high-quality furniture that remains usable and valuable. newen was founded to establish a structured system for the reuse of this stock.
Developed from within the industry
newen is an initiative of the IBA, the Industry Association for Offices and the Working Environment (Industrieverband Büro und Arbeitswelt e. V.). The platform was developed in collaboration with member companies and is based on a network of European quality manufacturers.

newen stands for the long-term preservation of high-quality office furniture. Manufacturers’ expertise, original parts and qualified partners provide the foundation for maintaining quality, functionality and value for as long as possible.
